New Uniforms For Salford PCT
Salford PCT applaud Grahame Gardner’s Customer Service.
Staff at Salford PCT will soon be looking a lot smarter following significant investment for new uniforms. Grahame Gardner Ltd won the tender to supply the uniforms for all Nurses and Therapy Staff, totalling over 800 uniforms for the PCT.Salford PCT wanted to ensure their staff were happy with the final uniforms so involved them in the consultation. They staged their own mini-competition through the recently awarded PASA framework agreement, inviting suppliers on this framework agreement and staff to an open day where staff could speak to suppliers, take a look at the uniforms and complete an evaluation form. This data was then processed and Grahame Gardner were selected on the basis of the feedback received. Maureen Ramage, Uniform Procurement Assistant at the Trust is very glad they were, she comments:-
“Working with Grahame Gardner has been a dream come true. My job is extremely complicated, for each uniform I have to select the appropriate trim, colours, banding and logo. Barbara from Grahame Gardner took the time to understand the complications and actually brought in a new numbering system to make my job easier. Her enthusiasm and willingness to help really made a difference, as did the significant cost savings that Grahame Gardner were able to pass on to us.”
Grahame Gardner handled the management of the measuring program for the therapy staff, coming in and taking the sizes for the entire Therapy team. With stock sizes ranging from 8 to 28 Grahame Gardner were able to accommodate all Therapy staff and uniforms are already arriving for distribution.
Salford PCT members of staff chose a number of tunics, the 1843 and P356, teamed with the nurses trousers 1852 and the T3225, but in order to differentiate staff (indicating their work location, department and hospital / clinic) numerous permutations were needed. Grahame Gardner worked closely with Salford PCT to make sure this process was as smooth as possible.
Therapists have already received uniforms and orders are now coming in for the Community and District Nursing teams. In addition to the tunics and trousers the PCT has also placed orders for cardigans, jumpers and coats from Grahame Gardner’s outerwear range.
