Whitmore Children enjoy the sun safely

Whitmore Infant and Nursery School have had a new canopy installed which will allow the children to enjoy learning and playing outdoors throughout the year.

Staff and pupils are delighted with their brand new colourful free standing canopy which was designed, manufactured and installed by school specialists Able Canopies.

Caroline Coulson, the schools finance officer is over the moon with the canopy which the school chose to have finished in blue, red, yellow and green to enhance their outdoor area.

“We are extremely pleased with the standard of workmanship. The site was kept safe at all times and the area was left clean and tidy when finished. The workmen were very accommodating and helpful.”

Whitmore Infant School & Nursery choose the Ullswater Free Standing Canopy from Able Canopies product range as they needed an outdoor classroom for the children which provided protection from the rain and sun to complete their outdoor learning area and help them comply with EYFS (Early years Foundation stage) regulations.

Whitmore Infant School and Nursery was recommended by their neighbouring school, Whitmore Junior School who had previously had a Shade Sail installed by Able Canopies.
