Manchester Exhibition Hosts iiaa Collagen Stimulation Therapy Seminar
The International Institute for Anti-Ageing (iiaa) is running a fact-packed two-hour seminar on Sunday 16th October at the Professional Beauty exhibition at G-Mex, Manchester to introduce the concept of Collagen Stimulation Therapy.
The aim of the practical demonstration and talk is to show beauty therapists how they can significantly enhance the skincare results they are already achieving for clients with this unique combination treatment.Collagen Stimulation Therapy is a safe, highly effective, minimally invasive skin rejuvenation procedure which combines the use of Environ’s potent topical vitamin formulations with professional micro-needling performed in salons and clinics. The treatment is designed to be used on all parts of the face and body to improve the appearance of wrinkles, shallow acne scarring, lax skin and stretch marks.
Pioneering South African plastic surgeon and founder of Environ Skin Care Dr Des Fernandes developed the process of pricking the skin with multiple tiny needles to stimulate healthy collagen and elastin production without causing any damage to the epidermis or sun-sensitivity. Thin skin can be treated and because the epidermis is perfectly preserved and healing is rapid, there is no sun sensitivity afterwards by contrast with laser, dermabrasion and deep peels.
The iiaa uses Environ’s Roll-CIT instruments and range of vitamin-based homecare and professional topical formulations together to optimise results.
The results achieved by Environ’s products are backed by independent medical research that has been reported in numerous peer-reviewed journals. Trials have shown that needling alone increases the thickness of the epidermis by 112% in epidermal thickness 8 weeks after one treatment, and by a striking 140% when Environ products are also applied topically. Levels of natural moisturising factors and growth factors were also boosted.
“Beauty consumers are increasingly seeking ways to rejuvenate ageing or scarred skin without surgical intervention, or aggressive laser or peeling procedures, so this method is really coming to the fore,” says Tracy Tamaris, iiaa training director “It’s highly effective yet kind to skin and there is no risk of scarring or vulnerable skin that can result from some popular clinical procedures or facelifts.”
The seminar costs £25 plus VAT and is bookable either online at www.professionalbeauty.co.uk or by phoning the iiaa on 020 8450 2020. The cost of the seminar is redeemable against any Collagen Stimulation Therapy™ training course booking*.
