Ultra Floor transforms Northampton Rugby Football Clubhouse

Crown Flooring Consultants have completed a flooring installation, using Ultra Floor to prep the clubhouse sub-floor at Old Scouts Rugby Football CLub.

Family run business, Crown Flooring Consultants secured the contract to install a new floor in the clubhouse of Northampton Old Scouts Rugby Football Club. The project was scheduled for July 2011 and included uplifting, priming, damp proofing, levelling, patch repair and decorative floor covering application.

To complete the subfloor preparation Crown Flooring Consultants chose to use Ultra Floor Prime IT N, Ultra Floor Level IT two and Ultra Floor Patch IT rapid45®.

Familiar with the outstanding performance of Ultra Floor materials, the companys'' team of fitters was confident they would get the job done with ease.

Priming the subfloor with Prime IT N enhanced the bond of the cementitious underlayment, Level IT two. Level IT two, Ultra Floor’s best selling floor levelling compound, combines excellent flow characteristics with strong adhesion properties through the inclusion of a synthetic latex liquid component. This liquid component provides increased flexural capacity, ensuring Level IT two has exceptional compatibility with timber substrates.

The products'' formulation is free from ammonia, creating a very low odour material suitable for confined areas as well as open.  In addition, the product is designed to compensate for shrinkage, is polymer modified and free of protein.

The leveller is ready to receive foot traffic after only 2.5 hours.  It achieves thicknesses of up to 10mm deep and can be used under a DPM as it was on this particular project.

Fast setting, rapid drying mortar − Ultra Floor Patch IT rapid45® is high strength providing a hard finish.

The products slump-free formulation flaunts exceptional strength and hardness qualities as well as being rapid setting for faster working. A dual purpose product that’s suitable for both internal and external patch repairs, concrete stairs, ramps and coves. Used on this project prior to applying the decorative floor covering.

The Northampton Old Scouts are now enjoying celebrating or commiserating after their games in their new look clubhouse.
