JS Humidifiers achieves Bronze Investors in people

JS Humidifiers has recently achieved the prestigious Bronze standard Investors in People award.

This puts JS in the top 7% of organisations which gain Investors In People, as it requires the company to go above and beyond the normal procedures for employee development.

Steve Verney, Managing Director at JS Humidifiers, comments, “An important part of JS Humidifiers’ success has always been to support and develop our staff. Having held the Investors In People award for over 15 years we are very proud to be one of the few companies to receive the added recognition of achieving the Bronze standard.

The Bronze, Silver and Gold standards were recently introduced to the Investors In People award scheme and allow organisations to focus on a particular aspect of staff development. In order to achieve the advanced recognition organisations must demonstrate their excellence in that area.

JS Humidifiers’ chosen area of focus was Learning & Development. Recent initiatives at JS such as internet based, personal training programmes and 360 degree appraisals helped the company meet the strict criteria for Bronze Investors In People status.
