Traditional theory is to consider the compressed air demand and install a more efficient air compressor for the duty. Why not put the “horse before the cart” and reduce the air demand on the main air generation compressors and switch the one’s you have off! Now that’s different! That means less compressor servicing costs and reduced electricity bills.
