About us
Founded in 1976, Birkett Cable Joints has grown to become a leading manufacturer of high quality, cost effective underground cable joints, 2 part resins and mechanical connectors. Our British manufacturing plant west of London allows for high volume production to individual customer requirements from around the world.
Our committed approach to lead the market through innovation has led to the development of Swishpak®, a fully enclosed transparent resin delivery system for up to 4 litres in a single mixing bag and a new range of patented 5 core steel wire armoured Torpedo® cable joints.
Birkett Cable Joints were the first manufacturer to successfully test to Harmonisation Draft HD623 and the subsequent BS EN 50393. Our ambition doesn’t stop there. We now have in place a sustainability development action plan to minimise environmental and social harm, seeking continual improvement wherever possible.
