About us
BGID was formed in 1974 as a partnership between Phil Fitzpatrick and John Foulds, formerly Garage Doors Birmingham. From humble beginnings at Selly Oak alongside the tow path and then onto Maltmill Lane, Rowley Regis, the company has grown to currently employ some 66 staff. Paul Doswell joined the Board in 1984, and as Operations Director now oversees the day to day running of the Company’s activities.
