Headquartered in Northampton, the company had humble beginnings with Don Smith solely supplying a small number of products to domestic customers, he was later joined by Phil Pullin, the current Managing Director, in 1993 before he took over in 2014 with the support of his son Dave Pullin who joined in 2000. A forward thinking progression in 2004 saw Don Smith Blinds move into the Trade business alongside their Domestic work, further diversifying the company.
