Fireco

We engaged Fireco approximately two years ago when looking to tabularise our fire door inspection service which we had predominantly done on paper and pen. The team at Fireco were perfectly helpful. The DorTrak software was impressive in both it's content-capturing abilities as well as it's ease of use. We pretty quickly decided to move forward using the DorTrak software and have steadily increased our client base since in relation to fire door inspections. The ability to measure and record gaps at numerous points around the door, the in-depth report content and the general aesthetic appeal and user friendly interface for both ourselves and our clients are key plus points for us.

We engaged Fireco as part of our full fire door set replacement programme across our care homes. Our existing doors weren't compliant, and in a care environment, that's not something you can leave unaddressed.

Fireco understood from the outset that they'd be working in a live care setting – residents' homes, not a building site. They were respectful of that throughout, kept disruption to a minimum, and communicated clearly at every stage.

The work has been delivered as promised, on schedule, and to the standard we needed for compliance. We take a proactive approach to continuous improvement across all our facilities, and Fireco have been a reliable partner in that work.

Would recommend to any care provider facing similar fire safety compliance requirements.

FireCo have been absolutely incredible from start to finish. I am genuinely blown away by the level of service that we have received.

We contacted around a dozen companies that supply & install fire doors but either they were slow to respond, didn't respond at all, didn't supply the full spec that we were looking for or didn't fill us with confidence.

Alex Babbage of FireCo is extremely knowledgeable and attentive, and took the time to explain everything meticulously with so much patience, attending to our priorities and concerns every step of the way. Alex visited me on site and brought along samples of the veneer options and closers. We felt safe in his hands to commit to moving forward with our order of 80x FD30 walnut veneer doors with concealed closers.

Jake Trowell attended a site visit to carry out the survey and Cherri Wheeler worked closely with me to put a schedule of works together.

Martin Pearce project managed the entire project and accommodated our requests efficiently and without a fuss, communicating with me at every juncture.

Jake, Alex, Tony, Terry, Chris and the rest of the team have been truly outstanding and I can't thank them enough. Jake is equipped with knowledge and passion for carpentry which is very valuable.

Such a genuinely lovely, friendly and hard working team...a rarity these days.

The veneer doors themselves are beautiful, and best of all is their incredible accoustic and draught insulation qualities.

We pushed forward with concealed closers, and I think they're definitely worth forking out the extra for.

If you are looking to have your doors replaced, I highly recommend FireCo. Don't hesitate to give them a call, I'm very glad we did!
