L.G. Prout & Sons Ltd is a family company formed by the current principles grand father; Gordon Prout in 1957.
The company was originally built around the local excavator industry supplying mainly phosphor bronze bushes and pins, we now manufacture components for engineering and manufacturing companies throughout the UK including food processing, mining, material handling, marine and manufacturing. In 1994 we purchased Gemmell & Frow Ltd a winch manufacturer, which is now known as Gemmell & Prout Marine Ltd.
