Matthews and son was formed in the mid 1960's predominately supplying the pottery industry with forged blacksmith works.
The company later started to produce quality steel fabrications for the pottery and associated industries.
The company expanded and moved to Howson Street in Hanley where they continued to expand their client base and services
The company remained in Hanley until May 2009 when it was decided that due to an increased workload and expanding client base, larger premises were required.
Our new premises in Malt Lane, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent boasts a 6000 square feet facility and can now offer a plasma cutting service, with sizes up to 3000mm x 1500mm.
