One Stop Coatings

After the powder is applied to the surface, it enters a curing oven. During its intake of heat, the powder melts to create a continuous flow, and once it has reached the cure temperature, the heat latent hardeners become active and the curing reaction begins. Once the film has been 100% cured, it becomes tough and impact resistant. Failure to 100% cure the surface will result in lack of adhesion. This is why at One Stop Coatings, we stress on keeping our oven and burners fully maintained. Powder coating can be cured at different levels of heat, ranging from 150 degrees to 200 degrees.
