About us
Pigeon spiking can be offered to prevent pigeons from perching on the ledges as they search for food below.
Feral pigeons (Columba livia) are also known as city doves or street pigeons. They are descended from wild rock doves that have interbred with different strains of escaped ornamental, domestic and racing birds over the centuries. They thrive in our towns and cities by adapting to the urban environment, making use of seemingly inhospitable areas of tall buildings that provide them with the smallest amount of shelter (similar to the cliffs used by their ancestors). The Feral pigeon will nest a produce young which will also colonize the building structures causing heavy fowling inside plant areas, loading bays and roof structures.
