About us
Polar Pumps Ltd was formed in 1965 to carry out commercial and industrial refrigeration and air-conditioning installations and maintenance. The experience acquired in that length of time has enabled us to understand the needs of the industry and in 1988 to take the step of designing, manufacturing and marketing a comprehensive range of refrigerant handling equipment to handle all refrigerants.
Polar Training
Our training establishment was launched in 1988 which is a BESA, LCL Awards and City & Guilds approved training and assessment centre offering an expanding range of courses for the refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Electrical and renewal technology industries.
Recovery Services
In 2002 we developed and built an Ammonia recovery pump to safely transfer and recover Ammonia. This is now a large part of our day to day business travelling up and down the country providing this service.
