Nick carried out my survey and was absolutely fantastic. I’m in the process of buying a very old house and, if I’m honest, the whole thing felt quite overwhelming at times. Nick’s knowledge and willingness to explain things made a huge difference.
He took the time to walk me through how the house had been built, what remedial work was needed, and what could wait. Rather than simply listing defects, he helped me understand the property and gave me confidence to make informed decisions. He even went above and beyond by helping me establish the boundary lines, which was incredibly helpful.
The report itself is outstanding and contains a level of detail and specialist knowledge that I wasn’t expecting. It includes practical recommendations right down to the appropriate breathable mortars and paints to use, which is invaluable when dealing with an older property.
What impressed me most was that his support didn’t stop once the report had been delivered. He remained available to answer my questions afterwards and even met me back at the house to talk things through.
Buying an old house can feel daunting, but Nick’s expertise, patience and genuine willingness to help turned what could have been a stressful experience into one I felt much more confident navigating. I can’t recommend him and the team highly enough.
