Solartek fitted a window film which controls sun and heat through my windows. Organising this was really easy since the people in the office were friendly, helpful and knew their stuff. The fitters were great and made an excellent job of it.
Their recommendation for the type of film has turned out to be perfect for my flat. Recently, on the day when the heat in my area was 40 deg C immediately outside the flat, the window film kept the inside temperature down to 25.5 deg C. This was awesome. I am so pleased because the film cost less than a portable air con unit and has no running costs like air con would.
