Biodegradable Foam
It is a starch-based material that is entirely unique, with exceptional cushioning and thermal insulating properties, all while protecting our planet.
Manufactured from corn starch, ZOUCH ecoCell is the most flexible and convenient of any packaging material for clean disposal − going farther than just recycling. It can be dissolved in a sink for quick, safe and easy disposal. It even decomposes in seawater and freshwater!
Closed Cell Polyethylene Foam (PE Foam)
Our PE foam is low-cost, lightweight and created from high performance materials we’re proud to produce. Our closed cell polyethylene foams are robust and made using physical manufacture (IXPE) and chemical cross linking (XLPE), all available in extruded sheets, rolls or blocks (buns).
Our eFoams are used in a growing range of sectors, including high-contact sports, protective packaging, automotive components, construction, healthcare, military and marine. They offer real advantages over traditional rubber or sponge materials like EPDM and neoprene, with a high strength-to-weight ratio, attractive aesthetics and low odour.
Closed Cell Foam
Once they’ve been cross-linked, they’re also much stronger, denser and heavier than the open cell variety, with better insulating properties (we call these U values), suitable for vehicles, buildings and appliances.
We can add EVA or metallocene to closed cell foams to make them softer and more elastic, or use flame-retardant additives to meet demanding automotive, aerospace, electronic and building regulations.
Open Cell Foam
Typically foam falls into two categories: open cell or closed cell. These are two completely different materials with different costs, purposes and performance levels.
Open cell foams are produced by forming bubbles within a liquid and as the tiny foam cells aren’t completely closed, air fills the open spaces inside.
This creates a softer, more sponge-like material which, because it uses less material, is cheaper than closed cell foams.
Self-Adhesive Foam Tapes
Suitable for a huge range of uses, they have excellent sealing and insulation properties, protecting against water, air, dust, noise and weather damage.
We offer soft, medium and firm closed-cell foams and sponge rubbers, with a variety of adhesives, substrates and liners.
Filtration Foams
This creates an open, almost net like structure within the foam allowing for a low flow restriction giving particles the freedom to pass through while dust and other unwanted particles are trapped within the cells of the reticulated foam.

Neoprene Sponge (CR)

Natural Rubber Sponge (NR)
Natural sponge rubber also offers excellent acoustic isolation and vibration dampening, so it’s perfect for noisy environments with industrial applications or a need for sound control.
EPDM Sponge
It's an incredibly flexible and resistant sponge rubber and we're able to develop a wide range of densities, sizes, rolls, blocks, sheets which can all be self-adhesive backed, if required.
EPDM (also known as Ethylene Propylene Diene Monormer) is an expanded closed cell sponge. Its versatility ensures that it's resistant to UV and weathering. Due to its closed cell structure it is entirely water and air resistant.
Our products combine high strength and durability with optimum resistance to ageing, weathering, UV and ozone resistance.
Naturally, all of our materials are offered in rolls, sheets, strips, die cut gaskets and pads, cross wound spools and endless long strips for easy processing and adaptation to meet all individual customer requirements.
