The BTU-01
The BTU-01 Bulk Transfer Unit is designed for securely receiving or depositing bulky items such as parcels, cash cassettes or any item that requires transfer with security control. It has the ability for Built-in speech to allow 2-way communication and interlock allowing only 1 door to be open at any one time. The BTU-1has a large capacity of 415mm x 285 x 590mm making it suitable for use within areas such as banks, cash rooms, local authority, retail, Hospitals and any environment where secure transfer of bulky items is required. The unit can be installed through internal or external walls of up to 495mm in thickness and can be supported on adjustable legs. Storage pedestals can been incorporated as an optional extra as can the VP-44 & VP-44A vision panels. The BTU as standard has a battery back-up facility ensuring that even during a power outage, you can maintain a high level of security transfer. The operating panel can be mounted remotely from the unit, e.g. on a counter or on a wall if desired as an optional extra. The frame (or on double doors the inactive leaf) has a step in its edge to ensure that the astragal is able to sit flush making it more difficult to attack than other door types with either no astragal or a joggled astragals.
