Polymer modified bitumen is carefully combined with selected road aggregates and the resulting asphaltic plug design provides:

It is comprised of a synthetic (non-bituminous) asphalt based compound, incorporating granite aggregate and graded rubber granules. This compound is also reinforced with metal and glass fibres.
