LGV Driver Training

Anyone aged 17 or more with good co-ordination and the skills required to drive a car (although you don't have to have a car licence) will have no difficult gaining a forklift qualification.

Counterbalance Forklifts - For loading & unloading vehicles, moving goods in yards and in warehouses

Reach Forklifts - Used in confined areas and narrow isles in warehouses.

Qualify for the first time or renew existing qualifications.

Gain or refresh specialist knowledge and skills to understand specific health and safety issues in keeping the transportation of dangerous goods safe. Successful candidates are certificated to carry dangerous and hazardous materials.

Valid for 5 years, ADR can be renewed in the final year before expiry by taking a short re-certification course to re-qualify for a further 5 years.
Your theoretical and practical training course covers all vehicles and most types of loads, and includes basic first aid and fire training, course briefing notes, post-course support material, ADR Certificate & ID Badge issued by SQA. ADR training can count towards 35 hours Driver CPC Periodic training. Arrange on-line exams for instant results or paper exams available with results in around 4 to 6 weeks.

Our ALLMI Course covers key areas of a banksman's role, including helping to maintain the H & S control measures that are in place (by employer / by site mangers). We deliver theory and practical instruction and guide drivers and operators thereby reducing the risks, and keeping the working areas free from pedestrians and others who may be harmed. We teach the signals explain there uses as set out in the Health and Safety (Safety Signs and Signals) Regulations 1996, which banksmen commonly use to assist and direct drivers and operators.
