Transfer Units
Ball transfer units aid the movement of flat sheet materials - steel, wood, plastics and similar. They are used for material feed to workstations, movement on transfer lines between workstations or assembly lines, also for moving of components, assemblies and finished packages. They are installed in factories, warehouses, loading areas and receiving stations for onward movement, generally under gravity or manual feed. Normally they are installed with the ball upwards but can also be used inverted as very low-profile castors.
UTB series ball transfer units are suitable for applications on transfer and conveyor lines or end of production lines. They offer linear and rotational movement with maximum cleanliness as they do not require lubrication. The UTB technopolymer ball option lends itself to handling loads with delicate surfaces while the stainless steel ball version is for handling loads with sharp or angular surfaces. Furthermore, since these are corrosion-resistant, it is possible to wash them.
ESD conductive units have an electro-conductive technopolymer body with volume and surface resistivity. The main ball is in stainless steel with internal support and transfer balls also in stainless steel. The mix of these materials prevents the accumulation of electrostatic charges so that UTB-SST-ESD ball transfer units are suitable for applications in "ESD PROTECTED AREA" (EPA) areas.
Elesa UTR roller transfer units facilitate both linear and rotary movement with a soft technopolymer roller. This is suitable for handling loads with delicate surfaces, and may also be washed frequently.

SFX Anti-Splash Breather Caps
Two new designs are now offered by Elesa each with their own choices of configuration which includes an innovative clip-on external linear labyrinth as an additional anti-spill device and a dipstick for level checking.
The SFX is a new breather cap design with internal splash guard geometry which can also incorporate a "tech-foam" air filter in polyurethane foam mesh to protect the reservoir from external particles.
The additional anti-splash device consists of a snap-on set of semi-discs that fits at the mouth of the cap, and are made up of fins offset from each other designed to create an extra labyrinth to protect in the most critical cases of strong fluid agitation.
SFX+a also features the new splash guard options with anti-splash clip-on labyrinth now with the option of a flat dipstick in phosphatised steel. On request and for sufficient quantities dipsticks can be supplied in different lengths and/or complete with MAX-MIN level line.
Other special options include − a neutral cap without symbols and a cap in RAL 3000 red colour - also the threaded fixing is available with American conical gas threading NPT - ANSI-ASME B1-20.
