UPS Technologies

UPS Technologies

There are three types of UPS technology or topology defined by BS EN 62040-3:2011 including online, line interactive and standby/off-line uninterruptible power supplies. Each of the UPS topologies provides a different level of power protection from the basic protection provided by a standby UPS to the intermediate of a line interactive UPS and the ultimate or highest level provided by an online UPS. Fire Suppression Systems

Fire Suppression Systems

Fire suppression is a critical infrastructure system within a server room and data centre environment. Whilst a fire in a server room is rare, a fire can lead to loss of data, IT systems and potential injuries or even a fatality. Our data centre fire control systems prevent these unfortunate incidents from occurring. Server rooms and data centres provide an environment containing both combustible materials in the form of electrical wiring, network cabling, UPS systems, IT servers and peripherals, and an ignition source in the form of the local electricity supply.
Environment Monitors

Environment Monitors

Environment monitors provide real time data and information on the environment in which critical systems including IT servers, networking peripherals and Internet of things (IoT) devices are operating. The data can be logged for analysis and instant alarms generated when the recorded measurements rise above pre-set points with alarms issued via email, SMS and phone calls to stored email addresses and phone numbers. Data can also be collected via SNMP over an Ethernet network or pushed to a Cloud-based monitoring portal for access via a suitable HTTP/HTTPS internet browser or mobile phone application. Environment monitors help prevent damage to critical IT operations caused due to sudden temperature and humidity rises, water leaks, smoke and fire and can also help with server capacity planning and energy efficiency.
