Newton CDM 508 - Basement Waterproofing Membrane for Waterproofing of Existing & New Build Basements

• Self-levelling waterproof performance: HydroCoat 1 Screed 2K is a cement-based screed enhanced with epoxy and polymers, designed to level and waterproof concrete. Its free-flowing mix can be poured or pumped to create a smooth, durable, lightly textured finish.

• Fast-setting and hard-wearing: It cures rapidly to produce a strong, abrasion-resistant surface that can handle foot traffic and allows resin coatings or screeds to be added within 4–24 hours.

• Dense and protective: Its cementitious structure offers low water absorption and high wear resistance, delivering dependable waterproofing and long-term durability in demanding indoor settings.

A multipurpose silicone sealant primarily used with the NewLath 805 Mesh Membrane and Newtonite 803 Membranes - applied to the plug before fixing into the membrane, 801 Mastic seals the penetration and prevents bridging between the damp substrate and new internal surface.

Applied to the fixing plugs before they are fitted, Newtonite 801 Mastic serves so as to seal the penetration and stop the occurrence of a 'bridge' between the damp or stained substrate and the new internal surface. Newtonite 801 Mastic has a high resistance to both ageing and extremes of temperature, as well as achieving a high adhesive strength, without primer, on the majority of materials used in the building and engineering industries.

Polymer-modified, and fibre-reinforced, HydroCoat 203-RM is physically and chemically compatible with the host concrete, quickly exhibiting high adhesive and compressive strength. As a single component, requiring only the addition of water, the resulting mortar is rapid curing with enhanced polymeric properties and reliable strength development which is not significantly affected by low-temperature use.

The mortar can be used as supplied up to 100 mm deep, or it can be bulked out with sharp sand to form a high-performance screed or for floor or deck repairs up to maximum depth of 300 mm.
