Bending Rolls
Between Morgan Rushworth and MG, we can offer almost every type of bending rolls from small sheet metal slip rolls to heavy hydraulic plate rolls. Different designs include asymmetrical and pyramid roll configuration and 2-roll, 3-roll and 4-roll bending machines. Sheet bending rolls for lighter gauge material are often of the initial pinch design with either manual or motorised operation, while plate bending rolls are usually hydraulic and of the double pinch design. Cone rolling is also available on either standard or special models. NC or CNC controls are offered as well as various levels of automation.

Steelworkers & Punches
Morgan Rushworth offers several models of steelworkers and punching machines. Steelworkers are also referred to by several other names such as iron workers, metal workers and punch & shears. While older models were mechanically operated, modern steelworkers are typically hydraulic machines and offer a number of work stations for punching, shearing, cropping and notching of mild steel and other metals. Punching machines are single punching stations for where the other operations are not required; these are offered as single or double ended machines.
Waterjet Cutting Machines
A waterjet cutting machine is unique in its ability to cut both metallic and non-metallic material with a completely cold cutting process. Unlike thermal cutting processes, the profiled material has no heat affected zone (HAZ) which can potentially cause issues such as reduced mechanical strength or corrosion resistance. A CNC waterjet cutter is also able to process extremely thick material while still giving an excellent edge quality with a minimum amount of taper. For some lighter materials pure waterjet is used, however for cutting metal an abrasive waterjet process is used with the introduction of a garnet material into the cutting jet.
Drilling & Tapping Machines
The Volumec Drilltronic is an articulated arm drilling and tapping machine with a high performance brushless motor. Optionally, the machine can be supplied with a table or be mounted on a floor stand. In its basic form the machine is positioned manually but when fitted with the optional Volumec Assisted Positioning System (VAPS) the machine will automatically lock at the programmed position. VAPS allows easy programming from the control in X and Y coordinates for square or rectangular parts or in diameter and angle between holes for circular workpieces.
