Glass Bubbler Assembly

Glass Bubblers are used in various glass manufacturing processes to inject gas into molten glass. The stirring effect of the gas flow, allows rapid colour changes to take place. As well as this by stirring the glass with a glass bubbler, hot spot bubbling can take

place which improves the overall quality of the glass produced.
We can design and supply industrial glass bubblers which are designed and manufactured to your specification for use in new or existing glass bubbler systems. This may include changing the size of the gas duct holes, or changing the gas fittings at the cold end of the glass bubbler. Common designs include an inconel outer sheath with a recrystallised alumina inner tube.

Thermowells for Temperature Sensors

Thermowells are otherwise commonly known as solid drilled pockets as they consist of a metal bar stock that is drilled to create an open end where the sense is inserted. If the sensor was to break during application, the user could easily replace the existing sensor with a new one.

Common uses of thermowells are very similar to that of other components. They can be used in both an existing temperature sensor setup or can be added to a new design specification. They are used in many high temperature applications because they can work effectively up to temperatures surrounding 1200 °C.
