Following a site visit, if required we can prepare CAD drawings to outline our conceptual layout design, complete with costings. Depending on our customer’s application, bespoke products can be manufactured, however we find that standard sizes often suit customer budgets and fulfil their requirements. Pallet racking is the most versatile form of industrial racking, and various types suit different companies’ methods of working, production and warehousing depending on the system installed. Consisting of vertical steel frames which are then connected by horizontal beams to create a bay area to which pallets can then be added, pallet racking can be adjustable, very narrow, double deep, drive in or through as well as mobile systems amongst others.

Choosing the right racking system will benefit the business in terms of stock management, operations, and logistics, saving time and energy, in addition to being easier to retrieve items more quickly and with safety for employees. Storing stock on a solid pallet racking system will also help to free up warehouse or unit areas for other production processes.

Depending on the stock your company is storing or supplying, a ‘first in − first out’ system (FIFO) or even a ‘last in − first out’ (LIFO) system can help you to keep your turnover of stock flowing, giving you greater inventory control.
