Crankpin No. 6 displayed noticeable surface damage, heat cracks, and excessive hardness readings of 600 Brinell — significantly exceeding OEM operating limits.

To avoid a complete crankshaft replacement and minimise extended downtime, the client required a thorough in-situ recovery.
