The AURA EXT series is meticulously engineered for the control of gases and liquids under pressure in demanding environments, withstanding process temperatures of up to 500°F (260°C). Ideal for elevated-temperature applications, the EXT series delivers reliable performance without sacrificing precision or durability. At its heart, the EXT features AURA’s innovative encapsulated seat design, which consolidates multiple moving parts into a single assembly. This advancement reduces maintenance needs, minimises potential failure points, and enhances long-term reliability. The seat is safeguarded by a 10-micron, 360° filter, which significantly improves impurity removal compared to standard pressed-in disks. Unlike traditional regulators that only filter at the pipeline port, the EXT ensures protection against harmful particles from all inlet ports. AURA's proprietary machining process achieves ultra-smooth surface finishes ranging from 4–25 Ra, which helps to minimise corrosion and extend service life. With its minimal internal volume, the EXT requires less purge gas, thus enhancing efficiency in critical operations. Each EXT regulator is fully assembled with all fittings installed, helium leak tested at 100%, and subjected to rigorous flow and function testing to guarantee reliable performance in tough applications across the globe. For use in aggressive chemical environments, the EXT can be equipped with Dursan® LS inert coating technology, offering superior resistance to acidic and caustic substances—a solution often more effective than exotic alloys.
