AURA EX1 Single Stage Pressure Reducing Regulator

AURA EX1 Single Stage Pressure Reducing Regulator

The AURA EX1 is a versatile regulator designed for precise primary pressure control of gases or liquids, accommodating inlet pressures of up to 6000 psig. This regulator is particularly well-suited for applications where minor outlet pressure fluctuations from varying inlet pressures can be tolerated. At the heart of the EX1 lies AURA’s innovative encapsulated seat design, which consolidates multiple internal moving components into a single unit. This streamlined design simplifies maintenance, reduces potential failure points, and significantly enhances reliability. The encapsulated seat is safeguarded by a 10-micron, 360° filter, providing superior impurity capture compared to traditional pressed-in disks. Unlike standard designs that filter solely through the pipeline port, the EX1 protects against harmful particles from all inlet ports, ensuring optimal performance. With an array of seat materials and orifice sizes available, the EX1 is engineered to deliver optimal performance across a variety of applications. AURA's precision machining process achieves surface finishes between 4–25 Ra, effectively minimising corrosion risks. Additionally, the regulator's low internal volume reduces the amount of gas required during purging, enhancing operational efficiency. Every EX1 unit is meticulously assembled within a Class 100 cleanroom as a complete system, which includes gauges, fittings, and valves, and is fully prepared for oxygen service. Each unit undergoes 100% helium leak testing and multiple flow and function checks, ensuring maximum purity, durability, and leak integrity. For applications that encounter harsh chemicals, the EX1 can also be outfitted with Dursan® LS coating technology, renowned for its exceptional corrosion resistance, often outperforming exotic metals in highly acidic or caustic environments. For secondary pressure control or less demanding applications, the EX1P presents a cost-effective alternative. This variant utilises the same robust pressure regulation mechanism and wetted parts as the EX1 but features a chrome-plated brass bonnet and a polycarbonate knob. The EX1P is ideal for panel-building and point-of-use assemblies; however, it is not assembled in a Class 100 cleanroom like its counterpart. **Key Benefits:** - Comprehensive pressure control for gases and liquids up to 6000 psig - Innovative encapsulated seat design for enhanced reliability - 10-micron, 360° filter for superior impurity capture - Tailored options for various applications through different seat materials and orifice sizes - Low internal volume for efficient operation - Dursan® LS coating for added corrosion resistance in harsh environments - 100% helium leak tested for guaranteed purity and durability Explore the exceptional performance of the AURA EX1 today and discover the ideal solution for your pressure regulation needs.
