Refrigeration Double Oil Filters

Refrigeration Double Oil Filters

Double oil filters, also known as duplex oil filters, are specialised filtration units designed for use in industrial refrigeration systems, particularly those employing ammonia (NH₃) or CO₂. They continuously eliminate impurities from the compressor oil while ensuring uninterrupted operation during filter maintenance or replacement.

A double oil filter features two parallel filter housings linked by a changeover valve or a three-way valve. This innovative setup enables the system to alternate between filters without the need to shut down the refrigeration system, ensuring optimal efficiency.
