Refrigeration Shut-Off Valves

Refrigeration Shut-Off Valves

### Refrigeration Shut-Off Valves for Industrial Systems Refrigeration shut-off valves are essential components in industrial refrigeration systems, designed to isolate specific sections during maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting. These valves enable swift control of refrigerant flow, allowing particular parts of the system to be safely shut off without disrupting overall operation. They are commonly employed in refrigerant cycles, ensuring efficient and effective management of refrigerants. #### Product Specifications - **Sizes:** Ranging from 1/4" to 20" (varies by type) - **Connections:** Available with flanged, screwed, butt weld, and solder options (depending on the type) - **Materials:** Constructed from durable steel or stainless steel - **Medium:** Suitable for glycol-based cold brine refrigerants according to EN 378 p. 1, including NH3, R134a, R290 (propane), R507, and blends with refrigerant oil, as well as neutral, gas, and liquid media - **Set Pressure:** Options include PS 25, PS 40, PS 63, and PS 160 (varies by type) - **Temperature Range:** Capable of operating between -60 to +150 degrees Celsius These refrigeration shut-off valves are designed to maximise efficiency and safety in your industrial refrigeration setup. Reliance RWC TPR22 Pressure & Temperature Relief Valve 3/4

Reliance RWC TPR22 Pressure & Temperature Relief Valve 3/4" x 22mm 4.5 Bar - PTEM575200

The Reliance Water Controls (RWC) TPR22 Pressure & Temperature Relief Valves are compact relief valves specifically designed to safeguard against over-pressurisation within unvented hot water systems. Should the input temperature or pressure controls fail, these valves provide essential protection. They are optimally installed at the upper section of a hot water cylinder, where the highest temperatures are typically found. When the system exceeds 95°C, the wax mixture within the temperature probe element expands, lifting the valve off its seat and allowing water to discharge, thereby alleviating the pressure within the cylinder. In instances of increased water pressure without a corresponding temperature rise, the valve will remain closed until the designated relief mechanism pressure is reached, at which point it will open to release the excess pressure. Certain models feature a PTFE coating on the MBSP inlet thread, streamlining the installation process and saving valuable time.

Features and Benefits:

  • Protection against temperatures exceeding 95°C
  • Prevention of over-pressurisation
  • Twist-top cartridge design for effortless servicing
  • Available in a range of pressure settings and probe lengths
