FSSCRRA - Reverse Acting Rupture Discs

FSSCRRA - Reverse Acting Rupture Discs

Introducing the FSSCRRA Reverse Acting Rupture Discs – advanced compression or reverse discs featuring micro-scored calibrated sections that open in the form of petals. These discs are designed with 4, 6, or more radial scores, allowing for optimal opening and significantly reducing the risk of petal detachment. The FSSCRRA rupture discs are ideally suited for both high and low bursting pressures and can be safely utilised with gases and liquids (when a special gas cushion is present), even under cycling and pulsating conditions, without compromising safety margins. Reacting to excessive pressure within mere milliseconds, FSSCRRA rupture discs operate without fragmentation, making them particularly effective for the protection of safety valves. These rupture discs boast an impressive operating to bursting pressure ratio of up to 95% and demonstrate excellent corrosion resistance. This resistance can be further enhanced with a PTFE lining. Notably, FSSCRRA discs can operate under absolute vacuum conditions without requiring additional supports.

Temperature Range: -20°C to 195°C Max

Important Note: The DN value embossed on the valve body signifies the NABIC 500 body size used in the manufacture of this valve and does not correspond to the inlet or outlet size. For instance, a valve with 1" connections (DN25) employs a DN20 NABIC 500 valve body, which is why it will have DN20 marked on the side of the valve.
