Should the system exceed 95°C, the specially formulated wax mixture within the temperature probe expands, lifting the valve off its seat to release water, thereby alleviating pressure within the cylinder. Furthermore, in the event of increased water pressure (without a corresponding temperature rise), the valve remains closed until the designated pressure limit of the relief mechanism is reached.
