Altecnic / Caleffi Pressure Relief Valve with Circlip Connection 4.5 Bar - F0000477

Altecnic / Caleffi Pressure Relief Valve with Circlip Connection 4.5 Bar - F0000477

The Altecnic / Caleffi Relief Valve - Circlip Inlet - F0000477 is a vital component for domestic hot water systems. Designed to protect hot water cylinders and heating systems, this valve ensures the safety of boilers and related components. It is specifically chosen based on the required set pressure. When the pressure increases and reaches the predetermined discharge pressure, the valve automatically opens, releasing excess pressure into the atmosphere. This function helps to prevent potentially dangerous pressure levels within the system, thereby safeguarding both the boiler and the hot water storage cylinder, as well as ensuring the safety of nearby personnel.

**Product Specifications**

  • **Materials:** Brass
  • **Set Pressure:** 4.5 Barg
  • **Product Code:** F0000477
  • **Notes:** Compatible with MK3 Caleffi Multibloc

Improve the safety of your domestic water system with the Altecnic / Caleffi Relief Valve, providing dependable performance and peace of mind.

Reliance RWC TPR15 Pressure & Temperature Relief Valve 1/2

Reliance RWC TPR15 Pressure & Temperature Relief Valve 1/2" x 15mm 7 Bar - PTEM550852

The Reliance Water Controls (RWC) TPR15 Pressure & Temperature Relief Valves are compact, yet highly effective, valves designed specifically to protect your unvented hot water system from the dangers of over-pressurisation. This critical safety feature is essential, as over-pressurisation can occur if the input temperature or pressure controls fail. The valves are strategically designed to be installed at the top of a hot water cylinder, where the highest temperatures are typically found. Should the temperature exceed 95°C, the wax mixture in the temperature probe's element will expand, lifting the valve from its seat and allowing excess water to be discharged safely. Additionally, if water pressure increases without a corresponding temperature rise, the valve remains closed until the pre-set pressure of the relief mechanism is reached, at which point it opens to relieve the excess pressure. Some models are equipped with a PTFE coating on the MBSP inlet thread, facilitating a quicker and more efficient installation process.

Features and Benefits:

  • Protects against temperatures exceeding 95°C
  • Prevents over-pressurisation in hot water systems
  • Innovative twist-top cartridge design for straightforward servicing
  • Variety of pressure settings and probe lengths available
  • Some models feature a PTFE coating for easy installation

Specifications:

  • Size: 1/2" x 15mm
