Reliance RWC 200 Litre Aquasystem Potable Expansion Vessel Pre Set 3.5 Bar - XVES050130
Introducing the Reliance Valves Aquasystem Stainless Steel Expansion Vessel, expertly designed for potable water applications. These replaceable membrane expansion vessels are essential for managing the additional load within water systems as water heats up and its volume expands. By effectively regulating pressure in both sealed heating systems and cold water systems, these vessels ensure safe operational levels and prevent dangerous pressure build-up. Featuring a replaceable membrane, the design prevents water from coming into contact with the steel shell, thereby eliminating issues of corrosion and contamination and keeping the water safe for human consumption. This innovative feature also allows for swift and efficient servicing in situ, so there's no need to remove the vessel for maintenance.
Features and Benefits:
- Durable stainless steel bolted flange to prevent corrosion
- Extra-wide membrane opening to minimise noise caused by restricted flow
- Internal membrane ensures no water contacts the steel shell, preventing internal corrosion
- A comprehensive range available from 2 to 5000 litres, suitable for all applications
- All models come with a replaceable membrane for easy servicing without removal
- Equipped with a pre-charge valve for convenient air pressure adjustments
- Designed exclusively for hot and cold water usage

FSSCRN - Nanoscored Rupture Discs
The FSSCRN Nanoscored rupture disc is a compression or reverse-acting disc featuring precision micro-scored petals with four, six, or more radial scores. This design ensures fast, controlled opening while significantly reducing the risk of petal separation. Suitable for both low and high burst pressure applications, the FSSCRN performs reliably with gases and liquids when a gas cushion is present, even under cycling and pulsating conditions, without compromising safety margins.
In the event of overpressure, the disc activates within milliseconds and opens cleanly without fragmentation, making it ideal for protecting safety relief valves. It supports an operating-to-burst pressure ratio of up to 95% and delivers excellent corrosion resistance, which can be further enhanced with an optional PTFE lining. In many applications, the disc can also operate under full vacuum conditions without the need for additional supports, offering greater installation flexibility.
Key Specifications:

FSSCRS - Sanitary Rupture Discs
The FSSCRS Sanitary Rupture Discs are compression-loaded or reverse-acting discs with micro-scored, petal-shaped sections, featuring 4, 6, or more radial scores for reliable opening. Designed to meet 3-A SSI standards for hygienic equipment, they are ideal for Pharmaceutical, Food, and Biotechnology industries. Constructed from AISI 316L stainless steel (other alloys available), their smooth process-side surface supports C.I.P. and S.I.P. treatments to maintain aseptic conditions. PTFE gaskets (FDA, USP Class VI, 3-A, EU 10/2011 compliant) enable installation in Clamp fittings. Suitable for gas or liquids with a gas cushion, including cycling and pulsating conditions, these discs open fully in milliseconds without fragmentation and can withstand absolute vacuum conditions without supports. Optional PTFE coating adds extra protection.
