FSY90N - NanoScored Rupture Discs

FSY90N - NanoScored Rupture Discs

The FSY90N Nano Scored Rupture Disc is a reverse-acting, micro-scored compression disc designed for high reliability and precision pressure relief. Its convex shape remains stable under operating pressure and only inverts at the set reverse pressure. Capable of operating at up to 95% of its burst pressure, the disc withstands thousands of pressure cycles without loss of performance. When activation occurs, it opens fully within milliseconds along the scored pattern, producing no fragments.

FSY90N discs are less affected by temperature fluctuations than conventional rupture discs, making them ideal for processes with wide temperature variations. They are suitable for gas and liquid applications (with a gas cushion where required) and are commonly used to protect pressure relief valves. A broad selection of materials and thicknesses provides excellent corrosion resistance, with optional PTFE lining available for enhanced chemical protection. Vacuum support is not required.

Medenus S50 Gas Safety Shut Off Valve

Medenus S50 Gas Safety Shut Off Valve

**Medenus S50 Gas Safety Shut-Off Valve Description** The Medenus S50 Gas Safety Shut-Off Valve is designed to swiftly terminate gas flow when the outlet pressure in the regulation section either exceeds or falls below predetermined safety thresholds. To ensure accurate monitoring, the outlet pressure is conveyed to the SSV control device via a dedicated measurement line. As pressure changes occur, the diaphragm within the control device adjusts accordingly, activating the shut-off mechanism. Should the outlet pressure dip below the lower switch-off point or surge above the upper switch-off point, the switch socket linked to the SSV diaphragm will shift to the disengaging position. This action releases the SSV screw spindle, allowing the closing spring to press the SSV valve plate firmly against the valve seat, effectively sealing off the gas flow with precision. It’s important to note that the SSV can only be manually opened and locked in the open position. For this to occur, the outlet pressure at the measuring point must be reduced below the upper response pressure or increased above the lower response pressure by at least the required re-engaging differential amount (Δp). The SSV is suitable for use in either functional class A (with diaphragm rupture protection) or class B (without diaphragm rupture protection), in accordance with specific national regulations. Additionally, users have the option of integrating a remote display indicating when the SSV is in the “CLOSED” position, as well as a manual and remote release feature that operates both during normal power and in the event of a power outage. **Specifications** - **Sizes**: 1", 1.5" & 2" - **Connections**: Female BSP Inlet x Female BSP Outlet - **Medium**: Gas - **Operating Pressure**: 3 Barg - **Release Mechanism**: Low pressure and high pressure - **Installation Notes**: Can be fitted in any orientation, ensuring a gas-tight zero position. This robust and reliable gas safety shut-off valve is an essential component for ensuring safe gas management in various applications.
