Medenus SL10 Gas Safety Valve

Medenus SL10 Gas Safety Valve

The Medenus SL10 Gas Safety Valve, featuring a spring-loaded design, is expertly engineered to mitigate short-term pressure surges in gas consumption systems. It effectively prevents unacceptably high pressure increases due to gas leaks, safeguarding downstream components from excessive pressure levels. This safety relief valve consists of an actuator housing and a functional unit known as the “control device.” In its closed position, gas flows into the actuator housing as indicated by the directional arrow. The internal measurement line port directs the outlet pressure to be regulated to the base of the main diaphragm within the safety relief valve. This system compares the actual pressure with the target value predetermined by the set point spring. The desired set point can be adjusted using the setting screw. When the pressure exceeds the set point, the measuring unit raises the actuator, allowing excess gas to escape through the blow-off line. Conversely, if the pressure drops below the set point, the measuring unit automatically closes the actuator.

CONCOA 315 Series Regulator

CONCOA 315 Series Regulator

The CONCOA 315 Series is a chrome-plated brass, dual-stage cylinder regulator designed for inert and non-corrosive gases in medical laboratory applications. Its two-stage design ensures stable outlet pressure or flow by compensating for gradual cylinder pressure drops. The regulator provides point-of-use control across five pressure ranges, from 0–15 PSIG (0–2 BAR) to 0–200 PSIG (0–14 BAR). It comes with a standard 2–15 lpm flowgauge calibrated for CO₂ (for lasers and cell growth chambers) or a custom thermal mass flowmeter-calibrated gauge for specific gases. While suitable for medical lab use, it is not intended for therapeutic use in humans.

Features:

  • Field-adjustable pressure limit for application flexibility

  • 316L stainless steel diaphragm prevents inboard diffusion

  • CAPSULE® seat design with 360° integral filtration in both stages

  • Helium leak-tested for integrity

Specifications:

  • Max inlet pressure: 3000 PSIG (210 BAR)

  • Body: Chrome-plated brass barstock; Bonnet: Chrome-plated die-cast zinc

  • Gauges: 2" (50 mm) plated case

  • Seats: PCTFE (first stage), PTFE (second stage)

  • Filter: 10-micron sintered bronze

  • Temperature range: -40°F to 140°F (-40°C to 60°C)

  • Diaphragm: 316L stainless steel; Cv: 0.1

  • Helium leak integrity: 1 × 10⁻⁸ scc/sec

  • Internal seals: PTFE; Ports: 1/4" FNPT

  • Compliance: Meets/exceeds CGA G-4.1, PED 2014/68/EU, ANSI/ASME B40.1, CRN OH5216
