Medenus SL5 Gas Safety Valve

Medenus SL5 Gas Safety Valve

Introducing the Medenus SL5 Gas Safety Valve, a state-of-the-art spring-loaded device designed to mitigate short-term pressure surges in gas consumption systems. This essential safety valve prevents unacceptably high pressure increases caused by gas leakage, safeguarding downstream system components from excessive pressure levels. The Medenus SL5 Gas Safety Valve features a robust actuator housing and an innovative "control device" functional unit. When closed, gas flows into the actuator housing as indicated by the directional arrow. Here, the inlet pressure exerts force on the underside of the diaphragm, while a spring set with an adjustable screw counteracts this force. If the inlet pressure exceeds the spring force, the diaphragm lifts, allowing the valve to open and release gas into the discharge line. Once the pressure surge has been alleviated, the inlet pressure decreases, causing the valve to automatically close again. **Specifications:** - **Sizes:** ¾" & 1" - **Connections:** Female BSP Inlet x Female BSP Outlet (NPT option available) - **Medium:** Gas - **Set Pressure:** 3 Barg (Maximum) - **Temperature Range:** -15 to +60 degrees Celsius Ensure the safety and efficiency of your gas consumption systems with the reliable Medenus SL5 Gas Safety Valve – the optimal choice for pressure regulation in the UK market.
