Hattersley Fig MH737 PN16 Variable Orifice Double Regulating Valve

Hattersley Fig MH737 PN16 Variable Orifice Double Regulating Valve

Key Features and Benefits

• The double regulating feature allows for effective isolation of the valve, which can then be reopened to its pre-set position, ensuring the required flow rate is consistently maintained.

Product Specifications

• These Y-Pattern globe valves are designed specifically for flow regulation and isolation purposes.

• Each valve is supplied with Figure 631 test points, enabling straightforward flow measurement.

• Our valves comply with the standards set by BS 7350, and the ends are flanged in accordance with BS EN 1092-2 (previously BS 4504).

• An ANSI version (MHA737) is also available for those requiring alternative specifications.

Pressure and Temperature Ratings

• These valves are rated for a maximum pressure of 16 bar and can operate efficiently within a temperature range of -10 to 120ºC.

• The pressure ratings align with BS EN 1092-2 PN16 standards, ensuring reliability and safety for various applications.

Discover the ideal solution for your flow regulation and isolation needs with our high-quality Y-Pattern globe valves, designed for superior performance and compliance with UK standards.

Reliance RWC 101 Series Pressure Relief Valve 1/2

Reliance RWC 101 Series Pressure Relief Valve 1/2" x 1/2" M x F 6 Bar - PREL101010

Introducing the PREL101010 Reliance Water Controls (RWC) 101 Series Sealed Heating System Pressure Relief Valve, an essential component designed to discharge water from your heating system at a predetermined pressure in the event of over-pressurisation. The Reliance Valves 101 Series Pressure Relief Valve serves as a vital safety feature in sealed heating systems, ensuring optimal performance and risk mitigation. Upon installation, this reliable valve is calibrated to the correct pressure; when the system pressure increases and reaches the preset limit, the valve automatically opens to release excess pressure into the atmosphere. This crucial mechanism helps prevent the risk of excessive pressure that could potentially harm the system and pose a hazard to individuals nearby.

Features and Benefits:

  • Innovative diaphragm design enhances resistance to scaling, ultimately prolonging the lifespan of the valve.
  • The easy removal of the single-piece cartridge allows straightforward access to the seat for cleaning or cartridge replacement.
  • Flexible set relief pressure range from 2.0 bar to 6.0 bar accommodates various system design requirements.
  • Available with FSBP or MBSP/FBSP connections, offering complete installation versatility.
  • Designed specifically for heating applications only, ensuring optimal functionality.

Specifications:

  • Size: 1/2" x 1/2"
  • Connections: BSP Male Inlet x BSP Female Outlet
  • Materials: Hot pressed DZR Brass
  • Medium: Water
  • Set Pressure: 6 Barg
  • Temperature Rating: +140°C
  • Product Code: PREL101010

Invest in the reliability and safety of your heating system with the PREL101010 Reliance Water Controls Pressure Relief Valve—an indispensable solution for effective thermal management.

FSY90N - NanoScored Rupture Discs

FSY90N - NanoScored Rupture Discs

The FSY90N Nano Scored Rupture Disc is a reverse-acting, micro-scored compression disc designed for high reliability and precision pressure relief. Its convex shape remains stable under operating pressure and only inverts at the set reverse pressure. Capable of operating at up to 95% of its burst pressure, the disc withstands thousands of pressure cycles without loss of performance. When activation occurs, it opens fully within milliseconds along the scored pattern, producing no fragments.

FSY90N discs are less affected by temperature fluctuations than conventional rupture discs, making them ideal for processes with wide temperature variations. They are suitable for gas and liquid applications (with a gas cushion where required) and are commonly used to protect pressure relief valves. A broad selection of materials and thicknesses provides excellent corrosion resistance, with optional PTFE lining available for enhanced chemical protection. Vacuum support is not required.

Key Specifications:

  • Sizes: 1" (DN25) to 8" (DN200)

  • Materials: Stainless steel, Alloy 201, 400, 600, C276, Titanium

  • Burst Pressure Range: 0.2–70 bar g (depending on size and material)

  • Tolerance: ±5% to ±20%

  • Operating Margin: 90% standard, up to 95% in suitable conditions

  • Temperature Range: -196°C to 600°C

  • Fragmentation: None – clean, full opening

  • Use Under Valve: Yes

  • Corrosion Resistance: Very good

  • Linings: Optional

  • Holders: FSHR/A, FSHR/P, FSHR/F, FSHTC

  • Rupture Detection: Electrical, magnetic, inductive, optical

  • Certifications: ASME (UD Stamp), PED (CE), ATEX EX II 2 GD
