The FSDIFDW Double Way Rupture Discs are expertly engineered composite conventional discs, constructed from four essential components: a slotted, perforated metal section, a seal membrane (primarily made from PTFE, but also available in various metallic and non-metallic materials), a protective layer, and a calibration ring. Designed for installation between flanges, these discs excel in static applications involving both gases and liquids at low pressures.
Responding to excessive pressure, the FSDIFDW rupture discs achieve full opening in mere milliseconds, making them an ideal choice for valve protection. For applications requiring vacuum or counter-pressure protection, support options are also available. These composite rupture discs can effectively provide simultaneous protection against both pressure and vacuum scenarios.
