Overboard Valve
A marine overboard valve is an essential discharge valve utilised on ships to manage the release of fluids from internal systems into the sea. These valves play a crucial role in the safe and regulated disposal of various liquids, including seawater, bilge water, ballast, treated wastewater, and cooling water.
What is a Marine Overboard Valve?
- A valve situated on the outlet side of a system, located at or near the ship’s hull, designed to control discharge overboard (into the sea).
- Commonly installed in systems such as:
- Bilge discharge
- Ballast water discharge
- Engine cooling water
- Sewage and greywater (treated)
- Scuppers and deck drains
We offer an extensive range of Overboard Valves from leading manufacturers. For tailored solutions to meet your needs, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.

FSY90N - NanoScored Rupture Discs
The FSY90N Nano Scored Rupture Disc is a reverse-acting, micro-scored compression disc designed for high reliability and precision pressure relief. Its convex shape remains stable under operating pressure and only inverts at the set reverse pressure. Capable of operating at up to 95% of its burst pressure, the disc withstands thousands of pressure cycles without loss of performance. When activation occurs, it opens fully within milliseconds along the scored pattern, producing no fragments.
FSY90N discs are less affected by temperature fluctuations than conventional rupture discs, making them ideal for processes with wide temperature variations. They are suitable for gas and liquid applications (with a gas cushion where required) and are commonly used to protect pressure relief valves. A broad selection of materials and thicknesses provides excellent corrosion resistance, with optional PTFE lining available for enhanced chemical protection. Vacuum support is not required.
Key Specifications:
Sizes: 1" (DN25) to 8" (DN200)
