CONCOA 455 Series Regulator

CONCOA 455 Series Regulator

Four-port, electroless nickel-plated forged brass, single-stage regulator for highly corrosive gases

The CONCOA 455 Series regulator is designed for primary pressure control of highly corrosive gases such as chlorides, sulfides, and other acid-forming gases. It features a Dursan®-coated capsule and diaphragm, providing superior corrosion resistance compared to 316L stainless steel or exotic metals like Hastelloy®. For fluorine service, a passivated stainless steel CAPSULE® and diaphragm create a fully resistant assembly. Deep purge assemblies are recommended to prevent moisture from forming acids in the gas stream.

Features:

  • Dursan® internals for enhanced corrosion resistance

  • CAPSULE® seat with 360° integral filtration

  • Captured vent protects against diaphragm failure

  • Spectrometric helium leak-checked for integrity

Specifications:

  • Max inlet pressure: 3000 PSIG (210 BAR)

  • Body/Bonnet: Electroless nickel-plated forged brass

  • Gauges: 2½ in (63 mm) Monel®

  • Seat: PTFE

  • Nozzle: 316L stainless steel (passivated) or Dursan® (non-passivated)

  • Filter: 10-micron stainless steel or Dursan® mesh

  • Temp range: -40°F to 140°F (-40°C to 60°C)

  • Diaphragm: 316L stainless steel (passivated) or Dursan® (non-passivated)

  • Cv: 0.2

  • Helium leak integrity: 1 x 10⁻⁸ scc/sec

  • Ports: 1/4 in FNPT

  • Conformance: CGA G-4.1, ANSI/ASME B40.1, PED 2014/68/EU, CRN OH5216

FSLPDDW - Double Way Rupture Discs

FSLPDDW - Double Way Rupture Discs

The FSLPDDW Double Way Rupture Discs are sophisticated composite conventional discs constructed from four key components: a slotted, perforated metal section, a sealing membrane (typically made from PTFE, but also available in various metallic and non-metallic materials), a protective section, and a calibration ring. Designed to be installed between flanges, these discs are ideal for use with gases and liquids in static conditions, particularly at low pressures. The FSDIFDW discs promptly react to excessive pressure, achieving complete opening within milliseconds, making them an excellent choice for valve protection. Vacuum or counter-pressure support options are also available. Additionally, composite rupture discs offer simultaneous protection from both pressure and vacuum.

CONCOA 308 Series Regulator

CONCOA 308 Series Regulator

The CONCOA 308 Series is an electrically-heated, single-stage regulator designed for high-flow carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide in laboratory applications. To prevent freeze-up caused by dry ice formation at high flows, it features three integral 50-watt heating cartridges, a primary thermostat for automatic temperature control, and a secondary safety thermostat cutout that heats the regulator seat directly. The 308 Series can be factory-configured with options such as single-station manifolds, purge, low-pressure alarms, or multiple inlets.

Features:

  • Three 50W heaters maintain gas flows up to 350 SCFH (165 LPM)

  • NEMA 4 housing for safe indoor/outdoor use

  • 316L stainless steel diaphragm prevents inboard diffusion

  • CAPSULE® seat design with 360° integral filtration

  • Low wetted surface area reduces purge requirements

  • Spectrometric helium leak-tested for integrity

Specifications:

  • Max inlet pressure: 3000 PSIG (210 BAR); optional 3500 PSIG (240 BAR) or 4500 PSIG (310 BAR)
