Commonly known as Resin Bound Rubber Mulch Playground Surfacing—or under various trade names—this safety surface is popular in primary schools and academies. It’s an ideal choice if you want a natural appearance without the typical maintenance challenges.

Made from recycled car tyres shredded into bark-like pieces, the rubber mulch is then coated using a specialist colouring process. We suggest using our natural colour blends, as the coating may gradually wear over time depending on foot traffic.
