We present two innovative frameless glass balustrade channel systems: GLASSLOC and ONLEVEL. Both options are available with or without a handrail, catering to a variety of preferences.

The GLASSLOC frameless channel glass balustrade complies with BS 6180 and boasts a robust 1.5kN rating. This system allows for a maximum glass height of 1120mm, and individual glass panels can reach up to 1200mm wide. Custom manufacturing for varying heights is available at an extra cost. This versatile system is suitable for both internal and external use, and the 1.5kN rating covers all domestic and most commercial applications. If you're in a high wind area, we recommend selecting the 1.5kN rating for optimal safety.

The ONLEVEL 6020 frameless channel glass balustrade also meets BS 6180 standards with a solid 1.5kN rating, making it ideal for all domestic settings and most commercial applications, whether indoors or outdoors, including high wind load zones. This system permits a maximum glass height of 1200mm without a handrail and 1400mm with a handrail, while the maximum panel width is 1500mm. Custom heights can also be produced for an additional fee.

For fascia-mounted applications, the ONLEVEL 6021 glass balustrade system complies with BS 6180, featuring a lower 0.74kN rating. This system allows for a maximum glass height of 1150mm without a handrail and 1250mm with a handrail, as measured from floor datum. Individual glass panels can reach widths of up to 1500mm, and custom heights are available for an extra charge. Suitable for both internal and external use, this system's 0.74kN rating covers all domestic applications and light industrial use, but it is not recommended for high wind areas.

Glass adaptors, often referred to as stand-off buttons for glass balustrades, offer a modern and elegant solution for your glass balustrade design. Featuring a frameless fascia fix design, they are part of our extensive range of stylish glass balustrades. 

One of our most sought-after styles of glass balustrade systems, the post with saddle glass balustrades boasts an elegant contemporary design. Crafted from grade 316 stainless steel with a grit brushed satin finish, our post and saddle balustrade system meets the BS 6180 standard with a 0.74kN rating. Independent static calculations confirm that this system is suitable for installation in high wind load areas, provided the appropriate fixing data is adhered to (extreme wind loads may require additional consideration). The maximum height for this glass balustrade is 1150mm, and the maximum glass span is 1200mm. The system can be customised to different heights for an additional charge, and it is versatile enough to accommodate designs with corner angles other than 90 degrees.

The post and saddle glass balustrades are ideal for both internal and external use, with the 0.74kN rating covering all domestic applications and light industrial uses with limited footfall traffic.

For all floor-mounted applications, we utilise 10mm toughened glass. For side-mounted options, we employ 13mm toughened laminated glass with holes for security pins in the clamps. This complies with building regulations and ensures that if side-mounted panels were to break, there would be no fall hazard for pedestrians below, as the security pins will keep the panels securely in place until they are replaced.

When navigating stairs, we recommend considering the fascia-mounted glass balustrade posts (side-mounted option) for this section. While floor-mounted options are feasible, they incur higher charges for shaped glass panels.
