Here at Soterra, we are passionate about the environment and making our contribution to less waste and using recycled content in our products.
From PET, PVC and Polypropylene with reassuring quality certifications in place on all our materials and we work closely with the factories to supply many products with impressive recycled content.
Did you know about the Plastic Packaging Tax that comes into force next year? From April 2022, a £200 per tonne tax rate for packaging with less than 30% recycled plastic will apply.

The major advantages of using post-consumer waste raw material are:
Less Green House gas emission (CO2)
Less energy used to produce the flakes vs the virgin material
Less water used in the production process.
Using recycled flakes or pellets to produce the material we supply gives a second life to material waste that would otherwise be sent to a landfill or to an incinerator or, worse, lost at sea or in the countryside.
We have many requests for sustainability and end customers requesting recycled materials in their product. We work alongside our customers to allow them to deliver a good quality and fairly priced product. Recycled material is suitable for many applications such as stationery, horticultural, food packaging and point of sale.
