Untha''s - Four-Shaft Shredder

UNTHA’s customised four-shaft shredder is hot topic for 2012 ADBA expo

Energy from Waste shredding specialists UNTHA UK will be exhibiting at the ADBA conference in July to discuss the country’s leading waste shredder for organic materials.

UNTHA UK’s managing director Chris Oldfield will head up a small team of technology experts who will talk to delegates about the customised RS40 waste shredder − a special four-shaft machine with an intelligent cutter and sealing system perfect for shredding food waste and packaging.

Chris commented: “I would estimate that this machine has now been sold in to at least 50% of the UK’s food waste plants, due to its ability to perform within this exciting arena.”

To process organic waste optimally, the shredding process should be slow-running and designed to produce a reliable particle size. With the customised RS40 shredder, a special cutting system with specific tooth and cutting gap geometrics has been developed to ensure the right fermentation substrate.

With clients including Fernbrook Bio, BiogenGreenfinch, Lower Reule Bioenergy and Langage AD on its books, UNTHA UK is well-placed to offer waste shredding consultancy and machine servicing expertise to the country’s leading Anaerobic Digestion plants.

Chris concludes: “The ADBA expo is a very focused and intelligent event, where there is a great deal to be learned from exhibitors, speakers and delegates alike.  Our decision to once again be part of this dedicated event is reflective of our industry presence as a leading provider of shredding technology for the AD marketplace.”
