ITM introduce Gefen Audio Amplifier

The latest Audio Distribution Amplifier from Gefen, the GTV-VOLCONT-DA, is now available from the manufacturers leading UK distributor, ITM Components.

The GTV-VOLCONT-DA supports connection of three different audio inputs using digital and analog audio formats, with selected input being delivered as local/remote analog audio to a pair of speakers using standard binding posts with 50 watts per channel amplification.

A powered subwoofer can be connected to a line level RCA output. If a digital audio input is selected, it automatically converts 5.1 Dolby® into 2.1 stereo.

The unit automatically evens the volume between different audio sources thanks to the Dolby® Volume Technology installed. In addition, the technology performs a seamless audio levelling that doesn''t detract from the normal highs and lows of an audio program.

Gefen''s GTV-VOLCONT-DA is perfectly suited for classrooms, conferences and offices, owing to its outstanding performance outputting high quality audio between devices such as CD players, smartphones and televisions.

The unit is extremely user-friendly. The key menu functions within the unit include volume, mute, input selection, volume stabilizing bypass and standby modes, all of which are accessed via front panel buttons or infra-red remote control. An RS-232 port is also included for connection to automatic systems.
