VEKA Recycling attracts key people at RWM 2013

At RWM 2013, quality was a recurring theme for VEKA Recycling Ltd whose drive to improve the standard of PVC frames for reprocessing was matched by the excellence of enquiries it received throughout the three-day show.

Enquiries ranged from waste management companies looking for a reliable recycler to brokers, extruders and even end-users including manufacturers, according to Simon Scholes, Business Administration Manager for VEKA Recycling.

“In terms of leads, it’s been quality, rather than quantity and we’re delighted with the response,” he commented. “People have made a deliberate effort to come and talk to us, with many potential new, as well as, existing customers discussing future business. We’ve already booked for next year’s show!”

He added: “We also spoke to a number of window companies who are looking for a sustainable and dependable partner to recycle their PVC-U waste. We want to be the ‘King of Quality’ and the message is getting through for the need to reduce contamination levels so that old windows can be recycled into new ones.”

With an annual 20,000-plus tonnes recycling capacity at its Kent facility, VEKA Recycling accepts de-glazed PVC frames from any source with an emphasis on clean input material. Fair market prices are paid within 14 days.
