Blowplast Ltd manufacture plastic milk bottles and have two sites in the UK; in High Wycombe and Sheffield.

Their success presents challenges in terms of maintenance especially as they operate 24/7 so they needed a floor covering that would fit arund their busy production schedule without disruption.

The Challenge

The paint on the concrete floor could not withstand the trolleys that transport the product from the production line to the warehouse.
The 24/7 nature of Blowplast’s operation meant it was impossible to take the time required to prepare the substrate to allow a resin coating to take and the curing time necessary would also take too long.
A low maintenance and easy to clean alternative was required to eliminate ongoing issues in the long term.
